Type 302 Stainless Steel foil is considered a member of the austentitic stainless steel line and is the most widely used alloy in the stainless stell family. It is widely used in Arhitectural and building facades. The 19% chromium that it contains provide resistance to oxiizing environments. While still used in a variety of industries, many users of this metal has switched to 304 and 304L due to availability and cost.
